Marketing · from $2,400 · 30-day pitch sprint, 60-day full campaign

PR that pitches actual journalists by name, not press-release wires.

Targeted journalist pitching, podcast booking, press release distribution where it makes sense. No 'top TV networks' theatre.

Most book PR sold in this category is wire-distribution dressed up as media outreach. We don't do that. The work is identifying 30–80 specific journalists, podcasters, and outlet editors who plausibly cover books like yours, and pitching them one by one.

Behind the scenes

What book pr & press release looks like on a working day.

Five shots from the studio — the kind of work that ends up on your project.

The work, in three tabs

Click through what you actually get, how it runs, and who owns it.

Deliverables, not vibes.

Researched by hand, not bought. Each contact has a written reason this book is for them — their last three articles, their podcast format, their book-coverage cadence.

  • Pitch list of 30–80 named contacts
  • Personalized pitch emails, one per contact
  • Press release distributed where it makes sense
  • Coverage tracker and final report

Book PR & press release — FAQ

Questions we get every week, answered straight.

Will my book be on the Today Show?

No, and anyone promising you that is lying. Major TV book bookings come through traditional publisher publicists with five-figure budgets behind them. We focus on what we can actually move: podcast appearances, niche-publication coverage, local TV in your home market, and 'gift guide' inclusions during holiday season.

Do you guarantee coverage?

No. We guarantee the work — the list, the pitches, the follow-ups, the report. We do not guarantee that journalists will cover your book. Anyone who does is selling you wire distribution and calling it PR.

What's a realistic outcome?

For a serious book in a defined category with a real news hook: 4–9 podcast appearances, 1–3 niche publication features, 1 local TV or radio booking, occasionally a national-tier mention. For a book without a news hook, the numbers are lower.

Should I do PR before or after launch?

Both. Pre-launch (4–8 weeks before): galleys to a small list of trusted reviewers (we use NetGalley + BookSirens). Launch week: press release plus pitched outreach to your priority list. Post-launch (30 days): follow-up to anyone who didn't reply.
